England midfielder Kieron Dyer insisted he will fly home if he is not fully fit for the World Cup.
The Newcastle player has been having treatment four times a day on his injured knee in a bid to be ready for next Sunday's opener against Sweden.
"Things are going well and if they weren't I'd hold up my hands and tell the boss," he said. "The team doesn't deserve to be told lies."
