The Argentinian press saluted Brazil's victory over England, describing the victory as "pure samba".
"The South Americans were superior and the win was doubly deserved because they came back from 1-0 down and played for half an hour with 10 men," said the Ole newspaper in its internet edition.
"Who can say the semifinal is not deserved? They showed their superiority over their adversaries."
Argentines took great joy in Brazil's win as it was England who knocked their team out of the World Cup in the first round.
