New Zealand voted with the majority when Sepp Blatter retained the presidency of world soccer's governing body Fifa in Seoul.
Blatter won a second four-year term with a landslide win over African candidate Issa Hayatou in a vote at the Fifa congress. Blatter polled 139 votes, Hayatou 56.
New Zealand Soccer chief executive Bill MacGowan, who was in Seoul for the congress, said New Zealand cast its vote for Blatter, despite accusations of financial irregularities and vote-buying under Blatter's presidency.
MacGowan said a major factor in Blatter's re-election was his promise to every nation of $500,000 a year for development.
