The betting interest in the World Cup will bring New Zealand Soccer more than $350,000 from the TAB.
TAB head bookie Pete Young said the total turnover on the cup had exceeded $20 million and, with two more games to go, was likely to hit close to $22 million.
Under the TAB's sports betting rules, New Zealand sports associations receive a guaranteed 1 per cent of turnover and 5 per cent of profit from betting on their sport.
