KEY POINTS:
New Zealand Football has clarified Ryan Nelsen's availability for the All Whites in next month's World Cup qualifiers.
Nelsen is currently battling a hamstring injury. New Zealand Football boss Graham Seatter says if Nelsen is fit to play for Blackburn in the English Premiership in the next couple of weeks, then he will be available for the All Whites. He says the Rovers are obliged to release him for the two World Cup qualifying games.
Seatter says he trusts Blackburn manager Mark Hughes not to "pull a swifty" by denying the All Whites their skipper.
