The All Whites have dropped four spots in the latest Fifa world rankings overnight to 63rd place despite not playing a game.
After reaching 49th spot on the back of their brilliant showing at the World Cup earlier in the year, where they recorded three draws, the All Whites have fallen 14 places.
A home 2-0 loss to Paraguay and 1-1 draw with Honduras in October saw the All Whites suffer the biggest fall of any side in last month's rankings.
The All Whites did not play a game in the latest rankings phase.
World champions Spain have retained top spot followed by World Cup finalists Netherlands in second.
Germany have jumped ahead of Brazil into third place while Argentina, England, Uruguay, Portugal, Egypt and Croatia round out the top 10.
Australia have fallen six spots to 26th place following a 3-0 loss to Egypt last month.
