The Wellington Phoenix have defeated the best team in English football - but there's a significant catch.
The Phoenix took down Leicester City 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens - a shortened seven-a-side event featuring none of the Leicester players who stunned the football world by raising the Premier League trophy.
Both sides consisted of a mix of under-18 and reserve players, with the casual nature of the clash exemplified when Phoenix centre back Dylan Fox found himself playing in goal.
All Whites striker Hamish Watson scored the golden goal winner in extra time.
