Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are through to the semi-finals of the Champions League, but not before the Spanish giants were given a huge fright at the Bernabeu.
Real were beaten 3-1 by Juventus with Cristiano Ronaldo slotting an injury-time penalty to advance 4-3 on aggregate after winning the firstleg 3-0 in Turin.
Bayern and Sevilla played to a goalless draw in their second leg- quarter-final with the Germans advancing 2-1 on aggregate to join Liverpool and Roma in Friday's semi-final draw.
In Madrid, Juventus looked to have staged a stunning revival to force extra time after Mario Mandzukic scored twice in the first half and Blaise Matuidi added a third on the hour mark after a goalkeeping clanger from Real's Keylor Navas.
The goals cancelled out Real's resounding win a week earlier but Lucas Vazquez won a last-gasp penalty and Juventus goalkeeper and captain Gianluigi Buffon was given a straight red card for venting his fury at English referee Michael Oliver.
Juve's substitute goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny came on but Ronaldo blasted the ball beyond him to send Real into the semi-finals for a record-extending eighth season.
Bayern, playing in their seventh straight Champions League quarter-final, never needed to hit top form against Sevilla but were in control throughout with the largely toothless Spaniards only rarely venturing into their opponents' box.
The Germans, who last won the treble in 2013 again under coach Jupp Heynckes, had secured a 2-1 advantage from last week's first leg in Spain.
Sevilla ended the game with ten men after the dismissal in stoppage time of Joaquin Correa for a rough challenge.
The result, however, meant Sevilla, in the last eight of the European Cup for the first time since their only previous appearance at this stage 60 years ago, still managed to snap Heynckes' 12-game record winning run in the competition.
