A footballer has been accused of concealing a sharp object to attack opposition players in a Turkish third tier league match on Saturday afternoon.
Reports from Turkey claim that Amed SK midfielder Mansur Calar carried a razor blade onto the pitch before cutting two different Sakaryaspor players in the highly-chargedmatch at the Diyarbakır Stadium.
Footage shows the 33-year-old apparently taking a swipe at rival player Ferhat Yazgan as he walked behind him before the match kicked off before going for his throat later on in the game.
Following the match, Yazgan took to social media to show off the nasty-looking injuries he sustained in the match.
'These football players who put [sic] the field, TFF, I hope you'll see them,' he wrote.
Yazgan's team-mate, Haci Dogru, also showed off a cut on his right cheek on social media after game.
In videos of the match, Calar can also be seen approaching Dogru before slapping him on the face.
Amed SK have denied the accusations aimed at Calar by releasing a statement saying that the midfielder did not carry a sharp object onto the pitch to attack Sakaryaspor players.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw leaving Sakaryaspor in fourth while Amed SK moved up into ninth in the table.
Many fans have called for Calar to be punished heavily and receive a lifetime ban from football for the allegations levelled at him.
Tensions were also high before the game when Amed SK's changing room was raided by 'a mob of rival supporters', according to local news site Kurdistan 24.
Amed SK released footage of the attack on their dressing room on the club's official Twitter account.
SK chairman Nurullah Edemen slammed Sakaryaspor and their fans for the attack on the dressing room, calling their behaviour an 'ugly, disgusting and immoral nationalistic [attitude]', according to Kurdistan 24.
