All White Marco Rojas has been loaned out to German second division club Greuther Furth for the 2014-15 season.
The 22-year-old midfielder is contracted to Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart, but after an injury plagued debut season last year where he broke a metatarsal in his first training session, he failed to make an impact.
Rojas had a strong pre-season with Stuttgart, scoring a hat trick in a pre season friendly and remaining injury free, but club management decided his development will be best served with regular gametime in the second tier of the Bundesliga.
"Today I signed a loan deal with SpVgg Greuther Fürth," Rojas posted today on his Facebook page. "I'm excited and look forward to the new challenges ahead! Thank you for the continual support, positive comments and messages."
Rojas is expected to make his debut for Furth on Monday against Ingolstadt.
