They first secured the services of All Whites star Ryan Thomas, now Dutch club PEC Zwolle will be hoping Wellington teenager Elijah Just will be able to deliver the same sort of success as his compatriot.
The 17-year-old midfielder has been given a month-long trial with the Eredivisie side that Thomas has amassed 134 appearances for since 2013.
Dutch media have reported that Just, a midfielder for the New Zealand under-17 World Cup side last year, will likely play for the club's under-21 and under-19 teams, and may train with the senior side that Thomas is apart of.
The Team Wellington junior representative could be a long-term replacement for Thomas, as the 23-year-old may not be at PEC Zwolle beyond the current season.
His standout performances in the Netherlands, which saw him lead his side to Dutch Cup glory in 2014, have garnered interest from clubs in Germany, France and Belgium throughout the January transfer window.
