Roy Hodgson is wanted by the mega-rich Chinese Super League despite England's Euro 2016 debacle.
And CSL chiefs are willing to more than double the £3.5million-a-year financial package Hodgson was on at the Football Association to secure the experienced manager's services.
The 68-year-old can expect to earn a salary of £8million if he makes the switch to Asia.
Hodgson is still weighing up his next move after leaving his role as England manager following the humiliating loss to Iceland earlier this summer.
But the embarrassing nature of England's exit in France has not put off those running Chinese football, who are targeting Hodgson.
