Chile keeper Claudio Bravo saved three times as his side defeated Portugal in a penalty shootout to reach the final of the Confederations Cup in Kazan.
The Copa America champions won 3-0 in the shootout after the teams finished goalless following 90 minutes and extra-time.
Chile will play the winner of tomorrow's second semi-final between world champions Germany and Mexico in the final on Monday in St Petersburg.
