Wellington Phoenix defender Michael Boxall is reportedly set to follow former team-mate Jeremy Brockie to play for SuperSport United in South Africa.
South African football website Soccer Laduma reported today that SuperSport United have signed the All White centreback for the 2015-16 season.
"We're excited to have signed Michael, and we wanted to have him here sooner, but his club indicated that he was very important for them and that they didn't want to lose him now," said SuperSport chief executive Stan Matthews.
"Due to that we'll only get him at the end of the season."
The 26-year-old has made 25 appearances for the Phoenix since signing in 2013 but mostly off the bench.
