ZURICH (AP) FIFA says it has opened a disciplinary case against the England and Poland football associations after incidents at a World Cup qualifying match last week.
Poland fans lit numerous flares inside Wembley Stadium, and one visiting fan ran on to the pitch during the match.
FIFA rules hold host nations responsible for security inside their stadiums.
FIFA routinely fines associations for offenses related to section 67 of its disciplinary code, which covers "letting off incendiary devices."
