The best footballing talent Europe has to offer will descend on France for Euro 2016. The Daily Mail previews Group F:
PORTUGAL
MANAGER Fernando Santos, 61, Portugal SQUAD Goalkeepers: Rui Patricio (Sporting Lisbon), Anthony Lopes (Lyon), Eduardo (Dinamo Zagreb). Defenders: Vieirinha (Wolfsburg), Cedric Soares (Southampton), Pepe (Real Madrid), Ricardo Carvalho (Monaco), Bruno Alves (Fenerbahce), Jose Fonte (Southampton), Eliseu (Benfica), Raphael Guerreiro (Lorient). Midfielders: William Carvalho (Sporting Lisbon), Danilo Pereira (Porto), Joao Moutinho (Monaco), Renato Sanches (Benfica), Adrien Silva (Sporting Lisbon), Andre Gomes (Valencia), Joao Mario (Sporting Lisbon). Forwards: Rafa Silva (Braga), Ricardo Quaresma (Besiktas), Nani (Fenerbahce), Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Eder (Lille).
FIXTURES v Iceland, Stade Geoffroy Guichard, Saint Etienne v Austria, Parc des Princes, Paris v Hungary, Stade de Lyon, Lyon
WHAT TO EXPECT? Fernando Santos tends to play a 4-4-2, with wingers expected to come inside and support the central midfielders. Cristiano Ronaldo plays as a striker, given the lack of genuine options in that position.
CHANCES OF GLORY? The presence of Ronaldo tends to suggest that Portugal can do something at most tournaments but he tends to struggle on the international stage. They should exit the group with ease.
THREE STARS TO WATCH Cristiano Ronaldo - One of the best players on the planet, Ronaldo will both score goals and provide them for team-mates. Renato Sanches - Sanches was hugely coveted prior to his switch to Bayern Munich and will be looking to show why in France. Joao Mario - The Manchester United target provided 12 assists for Sporting Lisbon this season, showing his creative influence in midfield.
KIT RATING 8/10 This is one of Nike's simpler kits for Euro 2016, and the green socks work very well with the dark red shirt and shorts.
NATIONAL ANTHEM RATING 6/10 A functional march that refers to Portugal as the people of the sea. The powerful chorus is the best aspect.
PUB AMMO Nani's girlfriend was thrifty with their money when he was at Manchester United. She would go shopping in Tesco because occasionally there would be deals that allowed them to get six Muller Crunch Corners for £2.96.
ICELAND
MANAGER Lars Lagerback, 67, Swedish and Heimir Hallgrimsson, 48, Icelandic
SQUAD Goalkeepers: Hannes Halldorsson (Bodo/Glimt), Ogmundur Kristinsson (Hammarby), Ingvar Jonsson (Sandefjord). Defenders: Ari Skulason (OB), Hordur Magnusson (Cesena), Hjortur Hermannsson (PSV Eindhoven), Ragnar Sigurdsson (Krasnodar), Kari Arnason (Malmo), Sverrir Ingi Ingason (Lokeren), Birkir Sævarsson (Hammarby), Haukur Heidar Hauksson (AIK). Midfielders: Emil Hallfredsson (Udinese), Gylfi Sigurdsson (Swansea), Aron Gunnarsson (Cardiff), Theodor Elmar Bjarnason (AGF), Arnor Ingvi Traustason (Norrkoping), Birkir Bjarnason (Basel), Johann Gudmundsson (Charlton), Eidur Gudjohnsen (Molde), Runar Mar Sigurjonsson (Sundsvall). Forwards: Kolbeinn Sigthorsson (Nantes), Alfred Finnbogason (Augsburg), Jon Dadi Bodvarsson (Kaiserslautern).
FIXTURES v Portugal, Stade Geoffroy Guichard, Saint Etienne v Hungary, Stade Velodrome, Marseille v Austria, Stade de France, Paris
WHAT TO EXPECT? Iceland set up with a 4-4-2 with a focus on using the two banks of four to remain compact. However they are technically gifted and play some fluid football going forward.
CHANCES OF GLORY? To even qualify for a major competition is a staggering achievement for a country of Iceland's size, but they have every reason to expect to get out of the group.
THREE STARS TO WATCH Eidur Gudjohnsen - The veteran player tends to play in midfield and only infrequently, but it will be a high point in his career to have reached a tournament with his country. Gylfi Sigurdsson - Iceland's best player by some distance, the attacking midfielder can provide a goal in an instant with either a long-range strike or a perfectly placed pass. Kolbeinn Sigthorsson - The striker was not prolific domestically this season but does provide a focal point for the Iceland attack.
KIT RATING 8/10 Unlike anything else at the tournament, Iceland's blue shirt with red sash has a cool dotted motif surrounding the badge.
NATIONAL ANTHEM RATING 4/10 A very hymn-like ode to the country and God that is a bit too slow to be of note.
PUB AMMO Iceland only has a population of around 325,000 and has more FIFA points per capita than any other team ranked in the top 50 worldwide.
MANAGER Marcel Koller, 55, Swiss SQUAD Goalkeepers: Robert Almer (Austria Vienna), Heinz Lindner (Eintracht Frankfurt), Ramazan Ozcan (Ingolstadt). Defenders: Aleksandar Dragovic (Dinamo Kiev), Christian Fuchs (Leicester City), Gyorgy Garics (Darmstadt), Martin Hinteregger (Borussia Monchengladbach), Florian Klein (Stuttgart), Sebastian Prodl (Watford), Markus Suttner (Ingolstadt), Kevin Wimmer (Tottenham Hotspur). Midfielders: David Alaba (Bayern Munich), Marko Arnautovic (Stoke City), Julian Baumgartlinger (Mainz), Martin Harnik (Stuttgart), Stefan Ilsanker (Leipzig), Jakob Jantscher (Luzern), Zlatko Junuzovic (Werder Bremen), Marcel Sabitzer (Leipzig), Alessandro Schopf (Schalke). Forwards: Lukas Hinterseer (Ingolstadt), Rubin Okotie (1860 Munich), Marc Janko (Basel).
FIXTURES v Hungary, Stade de Bordeaux, Bordeaux v Portugal, Parc des Princes, Paris v Iceland, Stade de France, Paris
WHAT TO EXPECT? Austria played a 4-2-3-1 in all 10 of their qualifiers, with Marc Janko playing as a lone striker. They were impressive throughout qualification, topping their group.
CHANCES OF GLORY? Koller's side would hope to reach the latter stages of the competition with a favourable draw for the knockout round. Progression from the group should be achievable.
THREE STARS TO WATCH David Alaba - The Bayern Munich star provides a solidity in the spine of the team, no matter whether he plays in defence or midfield. Marko Arnautovic - While his Premier League form tailed off, Arnautovic has the ability to create a goal from absolutely nothing. Kevin Wimmer - Infrequently used by Spurs this season, the central defender is solid and will look to prove a point this summer.
KIT RATING 3/10 The red and white offering from Puma would be fine were it not for the diagonal lines.
NATIONAL ANTHEM RATING 4/10 Austria also offer up another hymn, which is slow and not of much note.
PUB AMMO Jose Mourinho had Marko Arnautovic at Inter Milan on loan. He described him as a 'fantastic person' but with 'the attitude of a child'.
HUNGARY
MANAGER Bernd Storck, 53, German
SQUAD Goalkeepers: Gabor Kiraly (Haladas), Denes Dibusz (Ferencvaros), Peter Gulacsi (Leipzig) Defenders: Attila Fiola (Puskas Academy), Barnabas Bese (MTK Budapest), Richard Guzmics (Wisla Krakow), Roland Juhasz (Videoton), Adam Lang (Videoton), Tamas Kadar (Lech Poznan), Mihaly Korhut (Debrecen) Midfielders: Adam Pinter (Ferencvaros), Gergo Lovrencsics (Lech Poznan), Akos Elek (Diosgyor), Zoltan Gera (Ferencvaros), Adam Nagy (Ferencvaros), Laszlo Kleinheisler (Werden Bremen), Zoltan Stieber (Nuremberg) Forwards: Balazs Dzsudzsak (Bursaspor), Adam Szalai (Hannover), Krisztian Nemeth (Al Gharafa), Nemanja Nikolics (Legia Warsaw), Tamas Priskin (Slovan Bratislava), Daniel Bode (Ferencvaros)
FIXTURES v Austria, Stade de Bordeaux, Bordeaux v Iceland, Stade Velodrome, Marseille v Portugal, Stade de Lyon, Lyon
WHAT TO EXPECT? Storck's side play with a deep back four and usually have two defensive midfielders protecting them in a 4-2-3-1 system. Defence will be the name of the game. Hungary have not qualified for a tournament in three decades. They have one of the weakest sides in France. A group stage exit is to be expected.
THREE STARS TO WATCH Gabor Kiraly - The experienced goalkeeper is a former Premier League name. It will be interesting to see whether he brings his tracksuit bottoms to France. Balazs Dzsudzsak - Dzsudzsak is a technically able player and is one of the few players in the Hungary side to possess genuine quality. Laszlo Kleinheisler - Storck's favourite player, he was given his debut against Norway in arguably Hungary's most important game for a generation.
KIT RATING 6/10 This dark red shirt with white stripes has little to complain about but little to praise either.
NATIONAL ANTHEM RATING 4/10 A soft ode to the power of the Hungarian.
PUB AMMO Hungary hold the record for the highest number of goals scored per match at World Cup finals - 2.72
