All soccer matches in Northern Ireland have been postponed to mark the funeral of George Best, the country's most famous player, the Irish Football Association said yesterday.
The 59-year-old Manchester United winger, who died last week, will be buried in his home town of Belfast after a funeral service at Stormont, the seat of Northern Ireland's parliament.
Up to half a million people are expected to gather in Stormont to pay their respects.
