Soccer: NBA All-Star buys stake in Liverpool FC

NBA All-Star LeBron James has become a minority stakeholder in English football club Liverpool.

Fenway Sports Group has struck a deal to partner with the Miami Heat player's marketing firm and become his exclusive worldwide representative.

James has received an undisclosed stake in Liverpool as part of the deal.

LeBron James says it's a great opportunity for him, as the first time he stepped on court as a professional basketballer he became a businessman.
