SOFIA - Premier League champions Manchester United are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov, the player's agent says.
"We had a 90-minute meeting with Tottenham's chairman Daniel Levy and with sporting director Damien Comolli over Dimitar's future," Emil Danchev told Bulgarian Darik radio.
"They informed us that there's a query from Manchester United about the possibility of Berbatov joining them."
The 26-year-old Bulgaria captain scored 12 league goals during the 2006-07 season after joining Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen.
"They (Tottenham bosses) let us believe that they want Dimitar to stay for another season because they have ambitions to finish among top four teams in the Premiership but... they told us they'll have a meeting in the next day or two to decide his future."
