KEY POINTS:
Paul Ince was hired as Blackburn manager yesterday, making him the first black Englishman in charge of a topflight English club.
Blackburn said the former England and Manchester United midfielder and MK Dons coach had agreed to a three-year contract to replace Mark Hughes, who moved to Manchester City this month.
Ince is also the sixth man who played under Man United manager Alex Ferguson to manage a top level English club.
The others were Hughes, Sunderland's Roy Keane, Wigan's Steve Bruce, Coventry's Gordon Strachan and Birmingham's Alex McLeish.
