Italian soccer was plunged into a fresh crisis with three matches called off because of fan violence and the death of a supporter. Inter Milan's home game with Lazio was postponed after a Lazio fan was shot by a police officer at a service station following clashes with Juventus supporters.
Police said the shooting was accidental.
News of the death led fans in Bergamo to fight with police before Atalanta's match with AC Milan.
The game started but was abandoned after seven minutes when fans tried to break down a glass barrier keeping them from the pitch.
AS Roma's game with Cagliari was postponed because of the trouble.
The rest of the Serie A programme went ahead with second-placed Fiorentina losing 1-2 at home to Udinese.
Juventus moved up to third after drawing 2-2 at Parma. SPAIN Real Madrid maintained their one-point lead at the top of the primera liga with a 4-3 victory over Real Mallorca at the Bernabeu.
Brazilian forward Robinho scored two and set up the third after Mallorca had twice equalised through Fernando Varela and then taken the lead courtesy of Daniel Guiza.
Ruud van Nistelrooy scored the winner to keep Real ahead of Villarreal who came from behind to beat 10-man Sevilla 3-2 at home.

FRANCE Olympique Marseille left the relegation zone in Ligue 1 after a Mamadou Niang brace and a superb performance by goalkeeper Steve Mandanda earned them a 2-1 win at Olympique Lyon.
Girondins Bordeaux leapfrogged Stade Rennes into third place after two goals from David Bellion set them on their way to a 3-0 home win over the Brittany side.

Ajax Amsterdam stayed top of the Dutch league after they drew 2-2 at arch rivals Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven were held 1-1 by AZ Alkmaar.
Ajax are top on 25 points, ahead of Feyenoord on goal difference and PSV by one point.
