He's been linked with several top English Premier League clubs but as the transfer deadline looms today there are reports that New Zealand and West Ham defender Winston Reid will head to Tottenham at the end of the season.
Reid's departure from West Ham is imminent after failure to agree on a new contract deal with the London club. In the past few months he's been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Manchester United but it seems London rivals Tottenham may have trumped the other Premier League clubs for the 26-year-old's signature.
According to the Daily Mirror, the All Whites defender will head to White Hart Lane at the end of the current 2014-15 season in a 60,000 pound (NZ$123,000) a week deal.
However anything can happen on transfer day and another team could sign Reid in the current transfer window before the 12pm NZT deadline.
Reid has been an integral part of the West Ham defence after joining the club from Danish club Midtjylland following the 2010 World Cup where he starred for New Zealand.
