Chris Wood has had a pre-Christmas setback, with the Burnley striker going off injured in his side's 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur this morning.
Wood was substituted in the 33rd minute with a leg injury after colliding with Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
The injury will put him in serious doubt for Burnley's upcoming clash against Manchester United on Wednesday morning (NZT).
Spurs' victory saw them jump into fifth spot, thanks to a hat-trick from Harry Kane.
Kane's treble saw him equal the record tally for league goals in calendar year of 36, held by Alan Shearer for Blackburn in 1995.
