England football defender Harry Maguire has become a father exactly nine months after playing in a famous World Cup victory.
Maguire was part of the England side that claimed a penalty shootout victory over Colombia on July 4 in the opening knockout round in Russia last year.
A picture of him chatting with partner Fern Hawkins in the stands after the last-16 win against Colombia went viral and become a meme.
Four days later he scored a crucial header to open the scoring in the quarter-final 2-0 win over Sweden. England were then knocked out from the World Cup after a semifinal loss to Croatia in extra-time in what was a busy week for Maguire.
The 26-year-old posted a photo of his newborn daughter on Instagram, named Lillie Saint Maguire.
