DORTMUND, Germany (AP) Borussia Dortmund captain Sebastian Kehl will be out for around six weeks after his injuring his right foot.
The Bundesliga club says on its website that a scan Monday revealed Kehl suffered a ligament tear in his foot while training on Sunday.
The 33-year-old Kehl collided with the goalkeeper and will miss Dortmund's opening Champions League game at Napoli on Wednesday.
Defender Neven Subotic and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan are expected to overcome knocks to be able to play.
