KIEV, Ukraine (AP) Ukraine coach Mykhailo Fomenko is sticking to his guns by calling up all but one of the 25 players he previously chose, for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Poland and San Marino.
Back is red hot forward Marko Devic, who has 13 goals in 11 rounds of domestic league play. Also returning are wingers Andriy Yarmolenko and Yevhen Konoplyanka, who will be joined by veteran midfield stalwart Anatoliy Tymoshchuk of Zenit St. Petersburg.
One point behind first-place England in Europe Group H, Ukraine will play Poland behind closed doors in Kharkiv on Oct. 11 after being penalized by FIFA for discrimination and racism infractions. It will wrap up group qualifying at San Marino on Oct. 15.
