Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has donated the €600,000 (NZ$982,668) he won as his Champions League win bonus to charity.
The Portuguese forwards kind gesture comes just days after he scored the decisive penalty in Real Madrid's victorious Champions League final to secure the club's 11th Champions League title against cross-town rivals Atletico Madrid at the San Siro in Milan on Sunday morning (NZT).
The three-time Ballon d'Or winner is currently preparing for for the European Championships taking place over the next month in France, although the Portugal captain is not taking part in Portugal's friendly match against England at Wembley Stadium in London this morning.
