40 small children vs two of the of the greatest and most experienced footballers who ply their trade for one of the best clubs on the planet.
That was the scenario that played out at Sinatra Park in New York, as Bayern Munich midfielders Xabi Alonso and Arturo Vidal took on the challenge of attempting to defeat a team composed of 40 young children.
Capped 114 times for Spain, Alonso - a former World Cup winner and two-time UEFA Champions League and European Championship champion - paired up with Chilean veteran Vidal, a two-time Copa America winner, to defeat the New York children 3-1, with some accurate free kick-taking and good aerial ability sending the professional duo home with a victory.
