Brazilian legend Pele insists Argentine superstar Lionel Messi cannot yet be considered one of the greatest footballers in history.
Messi, who's won the Ballon D'Or, for the best player in the world, three times, is considered the greatest player in modern football and already one of the greats throughout time.
But Pele has called on his own record in comparing the two.
He says that when Messi wins three World Cups and scores 1,283 goals like he did then the topic can be talked about again.
He says people ask him when a new Pele is going to be born and his answer is "never - my father and I have closed the factory".
