BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) Boca Juniors squandered a precious two points on Sunday as Rosario Central scored late to salvage a 1-1 draw against the Buenos Aires side.
Emmanuel Gigliotti gave Boca a lead in the 12th minute, but Central rallied with Sebastian Abreu's's goal a minute from fulltime. Gigliotti has scored Boca's last five goals.
Newell's Old Boys and Arsenal share the top spot in the Argentine first division with 23 points, three ahead of Boca.
In other Sunday matches, Olimpo defeated Velez Sarsfield 2-1 and Estudiantes beat last-place Racing Club 1-0. Newell's faced River Plate in a late match.
