With 23,000 tickets sold, Wellington Phoenix chief executive Tony Pignata is confident the December 2 clash between his A-League side and American MLS club LA Galaxy - which includes England star David Beckham- will be a sellout.
"If we can get 30,000 to Westpac Stadium we will be close to breaking even," said Pignata yesterday.
"Of the tickets we have sold, 7000 have been for the two-match package - the league game against Adelaide United on Friday night and the Galaxy game on Sunday afternoon."
Beckham has been committed to play for a minimum time.
