AUGSBURG, Germany (AP) Augsburg has signed South Korea defender Hong Jeong-ho from K-League side Jeju United.
The Bundesliga side says in a statement that the 24-year-old Hong has signed a four-year-deal through June 2017. It does not give a transfer fee.
Augsburg coach Markus Weinzierl says "we won't have anything against it if Hong Jeong-ho develops in the same way that (national teammates) Koo Ja-cheol and Ji Dong-won did last season."
