MADRID (AP) Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa has hurt his right ankle but will travel with the team for Tuesday's Champions League game at Austria Vienna.
Diego Costa picked up the injury during Atletico's 1-0 loss at Espanyol on Saturday but played the entire 90 minutes.
The club said on Sunday that tests limited his injury to a "hard knock on his right ankle" and that he would travel with the team. It did not indicate if he would be fit to play.
Diego Costa leads the Spanish league with 10 goals through nine rounds.
Atletico's loss at Espanyol was its first in 13 matches in all competitions this season.
