West Ham defender Winston Reid has reportedly told the club's new manager, Sam Allardyce, that he will not leave Upton Park.
The All White had a poor first season in the Premier League after signing for £3 million ($5.9 million) after his impressive World Cup campaign.
Allardyce was understood to be looking to sell Reid or loan him out to another club after West Ham were relegated to the Championship.
Reid's season started on a high when he broke into the All Whites then scored the late equaliser against Slovakia that set the side on their way to an undefeated tournament.
Reid told the UK's Daily Mirror: "I want to stay. We have a job to do - getting West Ham back into the Premier League.
"I have not spoken to the new manager, but I don't think I will be loaned out or sold."
The defender scored his only goal for West Ham in their 5-1 FA Cup win over Burnley in February.
