All Whites striker Rory Fallon has signed a two-year deal with Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen after the free agent impressed on trial at Pittodrie.
Fallon, 29, will be in contention to play in Sunday's match against Kilmarnock. Aberdeen is his eighth club in the UK, after stints with Barnsley, Shrewsbury, Swindon, Yeovil Town, Swansea City, Plymouth Argyle, and Ipswich.
Yeovil Town decided not to extent his one-month contract at the club, despite Fallon playing all five of the League One side's games this season.
Aberdeen are languishing in 11th place on the table, one point ahead of bottom-placed Hibs. Fallon should add some firepower to a side that has been blunt in attack - they have struggled for goals this season, scoring only twice in seven games.
The All Whites target man will be reunited with Aberdeen midfielder Kari Arnason, who he played with at Plymouth. He will be officially unveiled as an Aberdeen player at a press conference tomorrow and has been allocated the number 14 jersey.
Fallon has won 11 caps and scored three goals for the All Whites. He headed the solitary goal in the play-off against Bahrain that took New Zealand to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
