What was already going to be one of the most nervous days of his life might just get a lot more exciting for Adrian Webster.
The 24-year-old, who plays for English League Two club Darlington, has been called into the All Whites for their one-off match against Australia in London on June 10 - the day before his wedding.
Coach Ricki Herbert said he was excited at the prospect of seeing the midfielder, who was born in New Zealand but moved to Australia at the age of one, in action.
"We are bringing him into the squad virtually sight unseen but, as a professional, we know he will be of a good standard," Herbert said.
Darlington, who have just re-signed Webster, "speak highly of him".
