New Zealand Football confirmed on Monday All Whites captain Winston Reid is still under an injury cloud ahead of next week's clash with Korea Republic in Seoul.
Reid did not feature for West Ham United in Sunday's (NZ time) clash with Sunderland and is still recovering from a hamstring injury which has kept the 18-cap All White out of action in recent weeks.
All Whites coach Anthony Hudson says he is in constant contact with the 26-year-old centre back and his club and Reid would be given every possible chance to be involved in next week's match.
"Winston is our captain and leader and we will continue to monitor his situation closely," Hudson said.
"He is obviously an important member of our squad and we will give him every chance to be involved and we will make a final decision later in the week."
