The All Whites' first match of 2015 was confirmed today with Anthony Hudson's side set to meet Asian Cup runners-up South Korea in Seoul.
New Zealand will take on the 69th-ranked Korean team on March 31 as preparations continue for the first stage of 2018 World Cup qualifying later in 2015.
New Zealand Football high performance director Fred de Jong was delighted to secure the match, as well as a week-long camp in Seoul, with South Korea easily fulfilling the criteria for All Whites opponents.
"They will provide top-level competition for the team as they move forward in their preparation for the first stage of 2018 World Cup qualifying," de Jong said. "Their showing [at the Asian Cup] highlights how strong they are and they will provide an excellent yardstick for Anthony and the team of where they sit at the beginning of what is an important year for the All Whites."
The announcement comes while Hudson is away visiting the Europe-based All Whites as the coach continues to move ahead with his plans for the national side.
