The All Whites have been given a chance to vanquish their Honiara demons.
Four years after suffering an embarassing semi-final loss to New Caledonia in the 2012 OFC Nations Cup, the two sides have been pitted against each other at this year's tournament.
New Caledonia finished their group second after a 1-all draw with Tahiti, while New Zealand topped their group with three wins from three games.
Their semi-final kicks off Wednesday night, while hosts Papua New Guinea will meet the Solomon Islands.
