Linked well with Wood, Thomas and Rojas in what appeals as New Zealand's best attacking quartet. Dangerous dribbler and constant threat to opposition defenders.
6. (3) Michael McGlinchey (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Injury ruled him out of these two games but still a first-choice in the engine-room when fit.
7. (10) Andrew Durante (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
New Zealand's best defender across the two games. Excellent at Albany and outstanding in Kone. His return from the international wilderness has been a big bonus.
8. (8) Michael Boxall (SuperSport Utd, South Africa)
Missed the first game through suspension but a rock in the away fixture. Looks every inch an international defender.
9. (4) Stefan Marinovic (SpVgg Unterhaching, Germany)
Two clean sheets, but not without some shaky moments. Remains the incumbent goalkeeper but being pushed all the way by a revitalised Glen Moss.
10. (15) Liam Graham (Chesterfield FC, England)
Has very quickly become Anthony Hudson's first-choice right-back, starting each of the last four matches for New Zealand.
11. (9) Bill Tuiloma (RC Strasbourg Alsace, France)
Well and truly back in the international fold and versatile enough to play in defence or at the base of midfield. His acrobatic goal-line clearance in Kone earned New Zealand a valuable point.
12. (11) Deklan Wynne (Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Canada)
In a head-to-head battle with Kip Colvey for the left-back spot. Possibly shading it currently through his greater attacking threat.
13. (12) Clayton Lewis (Auckland City FC, New Zealand)
Busy in the home tie and unused away, possibly through a niggly injury. Could play for his country for 15 years.
14. (16) Kip Colvey (San Jose Earthquakes FC, USA)
His battle with Wynne is a great example of New Zealand's growing depth. Very little between the two.
15. (23) Glen Moss (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
A welcome return to the international fold. Will push Marinovic hard in the coming months to be the number one, number one.
16. (14) Themi Tzimopoulos (PAS Giannina FC, Greece)
A glut of quality centre-backs is starting to limit his chances, but still whole-heartedly committed to the New Zealand cause.
17. (26) Te Atawhai Wihongi (Auckland City FC, New Zealand)
Having not featured in recent games against Mexico or USA, he played both matches against New Caledonia. Showed he is capable of making the step up.
18. (13) Monty Patterson (Ipswich Town FC, England)
Glaring miss in the away leg dented his confidence when a goal would have continued to raise his stocks. Plenty of time though for this talented youngster.
19. (NEW ENTRY) Tommy Smith (Ipswich Town, England)
Back in favour with Hudson and will be selected when he recovers from his back injury, probably for the next World Cup qualifiers against Fiji in March.
20. (25) Moses Dyer (Eastern Suburbs AFC, New Zealand)
Like it or not (and opinion is certainly divided), he is picked in every New Zealand squad and started the crucial away leg in Kone.
21. (17) Henry Cameron (Blackpool FC, England)
Chosen in this latest squad but unused in these two games with other attackers preferred.
22. (24) Louis Fenton (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Handy utility in an extended squad but unlikely to feature with everyone fit.
23. (18) Jake Gleeson (Portland Timbers FC, USA)
Drink-driving incident ruled him out of this tour just as he looked set to push Marinovic and Moss for a start between the sticks. Still one of our top three 'keepers.
24. (28) Tom Doyle (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Dreadfully unlucky with injuries and illness in the last twelve months. Now faces a battle to unseat Wynne and Colvey.
25. (19) Storm Roux (Central Coast Mariners, Australia)
Overlooked for these games but playing well for Central Coast Mariners. Maybe questions over his eligibility?
26. (20) Shane Smeltz (Kedah FA, Malaysia)
Experience and proven ability may yet see him with a part to play in future campaigns.
27. (21) Matthew Ridenton (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
On the fringes for both club and country.
28. (31) Luke Adams (Eastern Suburbs AFC, New Zealand)
A late inclusion in this squad but watched both games from the bench.
29. (22) Sam Brotherton (Wisconsin University, USA)
Other central defenders will keep him out, but time is on his side.
30. (27) Rory Fallon (Truro City FC, England)
May have seen his last action in an All Whites shirt, but there could still be real value in using him in a mentoring role.
