New Zealand have fallen 20 places in the latest FIFA world rankings, falling to 118th place, their lowest ranking since May 2012.
Their only game since the previous rankings was a 3-1 loss to Uzbekistan in Tashkent on September 8, the first fixture under new coach Anthony Hudson.
New Zealand are only ranked 19 places above New Caledonia, their nearest rivals in the Oceania Confederation.
The All Whites are now below 14 teams from the Asian Confederation, including Australia who have dropped to 84th.
World champions Germany remain atop the rankings, from Argentina, Colombia and the Netherlands.
