There could be good news on the horizon for All Whites striker Myer Bevan.
The 20-year-old looks set to sign an MLS contract with the Vancouver Whitecaps, which would be a massive boost in the context of his career.
It's believed he is close to agreeing a multi-year deal with the Canadian side, who have been part of the MLS since the 2011 season.
Bevan has already spent time in Vancouver, playing 13 games for their second tier Whitecaps 2 side in the United Soccer League last season.
But the Whitecaps 2 team was dissolved last month, with the MLS franchise aligning with USL expansion team Fresno FC.
