BBQ Marinated Fish
Many of the pelagic fish such as Kahawai, Skipjack and Yellowfin tuna are not considered by some to be top-eating fish and more akin to bait. But try marinating your catch and cook it on the barbeque.
Ingredients
Squeeze the juice from 5 lemons.
Add 2 tablespoons of soya sauce.
Add 1 tablespoon of garlic.
Add 1 tablespoon of ginger.
Add 1/3 cup of olive oil.
2 tablespoons of curry powder.
Mix well and chill in the fridge.
Directions
Marinate the fish in this mixture for no longer than five minutes for thick fillets, less for thinner pieces as the lemon juice will cook the flesh on its own.
Place fish onto a well-oiled hot plate at a high heat and cook each side for only a couple of minutes.
Add cold beer and fishing fibs.
