Former Australian test cricketer Shane Warne was sent into a spin during a British Airways flight from London to the United States, vowing never again to fly with the airline.
In his own inimitable version of English, Warne used Twitter to complain about his seat, the crew, the captain, the air-conditioning and the smelly breath of a passenger. He was travelling first-class to Las Vegas to take part in a poker tournament.
"I hate British airways, way to arrogant and rude towards people!! Will not be flying with them again after my return from Vegas," Warne began.
"Now on plane grumpy and listening to capt tell me how high we will fly what direction his taking off blah blah.. Just shut up let us chill."
Two minutes later: "They spoke to this young family in front of me like they where criminals, they where travelling first class to, so rude and obnoxious."
Seven minutes later: "Oh by the way I can smell the guys breath to me he is so close, rubbish seat pattern.. Hate this airline!!!"
Six minutes later the air-conditioning gave up. "Now capt apologising for no a/c!!! Seriously this could be one of the worst flying experience of my life.. SHUT UP CAPT!"
"Look I'm very lucky to travel first class, but the way British airways have spoken to the people and treated everyone, is a disgrace. Now capt apologizing for no a/c it's boiling, has not stopped talking!!! SHUT UP."
