Matias Moroni/Horacio Agulla, Argentina, Centre/Wing, $53,500
Keep an eye on the Argentinean team announcement to see if either of these two players is named as the replacement for Marcelo Bosch at centre versus Ireland. Both are in the same boat as Drew Mitchell and will at the very least provide some extra cash for the semi finals if they play.
Sean McMahon, Australia, Back Row, $53,500
If David Pocock fails to take the field for Australia McMahon is a top play this round. However, if Pocock battles through his calf injury, McMahon is not worth playing - so it's both a wait and see and risk/reward situation here. As an aside, Pocock will be getting the boot from my squad due to the uncertainty regarding his injury.
John Hardie, Scotland, Back Row, $50,000
If Hardie is selected to start against South Africa you can bet on him providing you with a steady amount of points for the cheapest possible price. He'll also gain a fair amount of value next week for your overall budget.
Rabah Slimani, France, Front Row, $60,900
His average of 19.27 may not look like much but it's enough to put him in the top five of all fantasy front rowers in our game.
Iain Henderson, Ireland, Second Row, $70,200
Henderson has the huge task of filling the boots of former captain Paul O'Connell in this crunch match against Argentina. He's got both the motivation and recent form to put up a great fantasy score this round.
Use the above suggestions wisely - I would advise splashing out on key positions that don't have much depth like first five, halfback and fullback while picking up the cheaper players above to fill the remainder of your squad.
Also, don't be afraid to select very cheap players from teams that are out of the game on your reserves bench. While you won't have any insurance if your starters don't play, you will be able to free up some budget to select a better first XV.
Again, make sure you check in on team announcements and injury news via the NZ Herald website as they come in over the next few days.
