As snow has blanketed parts of England overnight, two of the most famous sporting grounds in the world shared images winter scenes.
Heavy snow in parts of Britain is causing disruptions to road, rail and air travel and has forced hundreds of schools across the country to close.

ice warnings were in place in eastern Britain. Strong snow is expected tonight in northeast England and Scotland as the intense wintry weather continues.
The Twitter accounts of England's two most famous patches of grass - Lord's cricket ground and the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club showed to what extend the winter blast had blanketed their respective hallow turfs.
