Claire Wilson won her first World Cup showjumping event at Dannevirke yesterday. She and her grey horse Sacred Hill Answer Back were the only combination among 12 entrants to jump double clear rounds in the fifth round of the New Zealand series of the World Cup, at the Central and Southern Hawkes Bay showjumping championships.
The win lifted Wilson to second equal place for the series, just two points adrift of Oliver Edgecombe.
