Three Kiwis are in the top ten after the first day of dressage at the prestigious Badminton Horse Trials in England.
Clarke Johnston on Balmoral Sensation sits fourth, Jesse Campbell riding Kaapachino is fifth and Jock Paget on Clifton Lush is 9th.
However Paget is not pleased with his score of 45.2 penalty points.
Paget said his horse warmed up well, but he didn't set him up as well as he could have and made a couple of silly mistakes which was very expensive.
Germany's Michael Jung leads the event with another day of dressage tomorrow before the cross country and showjumping phases.
