Equestrian Sports New Zealand (ESNZ) has announced the appointment of Jim Ellis as its new chief executive.
Ellis, who has been managing director of University Sports New Zealand for three years, will take up the position on September 3.
He replaces Justine Kidd, who left in February for personal reasons, less than 18 months out from the Beijing Olympic Games.
Board member Karen Trotter has held the post on an interim basis while a permanent replacement was sought.
