New Zealand's Andrew Nicholson followed up a superb cross-country effort with solid showjumping rounds on both his mounts to finish with two horses in the top 10 at the Badminton Horse Trials in England yesterday. Britain's Lucinda Fredericks won the event, leading from the front on Headley Britannia to finish ahead of Andreas Dibowski (Germany) on FRH Serve Well and Kim Severson (United States) with Winsome Adante.
Nicholson's Henry Tankerville started the day in sixth place and finished eighth and his other mount Lord Killinghurst was ninth after the cross-country and finished fifth.
